Wood Sculpture Photogrammetry Render

At Diorama.Studio myself along with Fotis Saltapidas we are excited to share a glimpse of our upcoming project. Over the past few months, we've been working hard on our new photogrammetry project, which involves manually photoscanning a collection of captivating wood art sculptures from a great artist but more on that in the near future with a video..
So behind the scenes the process has been a challenging quality over quantity type of workflow, where we meticulously captured over 700 photos of each angle using our trusty Panasonic camera along with three softboxes for perfect lighting and a couple of different lenses. Then switched to Adobe lightroom and color corrected the photos. These images were then processed using the powerful photogrammetry software, realitycapture, resulting in stunning and detailed 3D meshes that we further optimized the topology.
Our vision for this project is to showcase these mesmerizing wood sculptures on the artist's website and utilize them in our upcoming animations and product #3d renders . The combination of art and technology in this endeavor has been truly exhilarating for us so many details.

We're grateful to Chaos for sponsoring us on this journey, enabling us to leverage Autodesk 3dsmax and coronarenderer to bring these wooden masterpieces to life in the most realistic and captivating way possible.

Stay tuned as we approach the final stages, and we can't wait to share the breath-taking results with all of you later this year!
